Valley of Birds Homestay is a simple farmhouse in the Western Ghats at the foothills of Kemmanagundi, Chikkamagaluru District, Karnataka. The retreat is set in a seven-acre areca nut and sapota plantation, about 500 metres from Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, with rural surroundings, home-cooked vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, and access to the hills, shrines and waterfalls of Kemmanagundi. Guests can arrange escorted walks, a fireplace, music and barbecue on prior request, and play chess, carrom and darts.
